Evaluating DMC Interventions in Iowa and Virginia
JRSA received a grant from OJJDP to evaluate the strategies to reduce disproportionate minority contact among the juvenile justice populations in Iowa and Virginia. Our strategy comprises two parts that will allow us to gather important qualitative and quantitative information: (1) Document the steps that Iowa and Virginia have taken to assess DMC, what interventions they have pursued, and the outcomes they have achieved; and (2) Analyze secondary juvenile justice data.
