To create this table, the most often reported locations were chosen, and some locations were grouped into categories (retail, food/beverage/lodging). As you can see, the greatest percentage of the offenses, 42%, occurred in/on residential properties. Offenses perpetrated on highways/roads/alleys/streets accounted for 14%, and 3% occurred at schools/colleges. The remaining incidents were widely distributed among various locations. Crimes against persons and crimes against property were most frequently committed in residences, and crimes against society on the streets and highways.
